As a result of the widespread of corona virus in the country that made the Federal government to shut down schools and its activities for over 4months now has caused a lot of concern for many students and even parents.

It was the decision taken by the President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari who ordered closure of schools in the whole states in order to curb the widespread of the pandemic, in which the overall objective is ensuring safety of Nigeria students and teachers nationwide.

Recently, before now, the Federal Government of Nigeria announced reopening of schools on August 4 following that final year students can write their exams, especially West African Examination Council (WAEC) which has been scheduled to hold on August 17.

The step taken by Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari to allow schools to open in the country for final year students to write their WAEC is a good sign for other categories which were not included. On that note, students in secondary schools, colleges of education, polytechnics and universities should be certain that schools will soon reopen.

All students in secondary schools, colleges of education, polytechnics and universities should be warming up because if Federal Government can start by opening schools for WAEC candidates, then the next step is to open schools for all categories.

In my own opinion, I will advice students in all categories to start preparing by revising their books, so that it will give them an head start when schools finally opens.

I believe strongly that after completion of WAEC examinations in the country, the next agenda would be reopening of schools for all categories.

I will also advice all students to be guided by all safety precautions by adhering to the guidelines laid down by Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).

We rebuke every causes of death among students prior to reopening of schools. We shall not have any record of death by God's grace.
