Following up after the viral video that sparked mixed feelings of humour and sobriety amongst millions who must have watched it as well as the reaction of the Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu , the word "calm-down" has being seen to be a more or less a way to insinuate that people should ease themselves from the stress they are involved in and it is even used in a way of telling certain people to stop the evil they do.

Even recently an organisation (non-governmental) took to Facebook to stand for the boy and also required him to be their ambassador. In their post it read:

From the story we see that we all need to calm down in this Nigeria, most of our hustle and bustle to make ends meet has not really made ends meet. Most times we are here and there to meet up with one appointment or the other. Sometimes we could be angry for just no good reason, all you need is to just calm down and take a sit like that boy did and maybe you'll be able to think. Most times our body does most of the thinking rather than our brain and mind does, "you no go like calm down?" . Even to our politicians and governing authorities , abeg calm down small!! Una policies sometimes dey weak person.

So as you go out today endeavour to give someone this word of advice: calm down!
